What we collect

Account info: email address, display name, and password (stored hashed by our auth provider, Supabase).
Your content: cafés you submit, reviews, ratings, and photos you upload.
Basic usage data: standard server logs (IP, browser type, timestamps) used to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

To run your account and display your contributions.
To email you about your account, submissions, and important site changes.
To improve the site and prevent abuse.

Who we share it with

We use a small set of trusted providers to run the site: Supabase (database, authentication, storage), Cloudflare (hosting), Google Maps (location data you attach to cafés), and our email delivery provider. We don't sell your data.

Cookies

We use essential cookies/local storage to keep you signed in. We don't run advertising trackers.

Your rights

You can update your display name from your account page and request deletion of your account by emailing hello@myhotcoffeespots.com. Depending on where you live (e.g. UK/EU), you also have rights of access, correction, and portability under GDPR.
